Historic building analysis
This manor house was the subject of an English Heritage grant-aided condition survey prior to major repairs.
The survey resulted in a new understanding of the enclosure of the site and its periodic enlargement within
medieval boundary walls. A system of colour coding was developed as prototype colour codes for historical
development plans. 2003.
